Barbara was Head of Assurance Activation Hub at PwC and left the firm in January 2024. But did you know? Barbara was a re-joiner and has an exciting story to tell about her coming home.
Why did you decide to ‘come home again’?
Working at another Big Four, I quickly realised how different the culture was. I truly missed the fast-paced environment at PwC and the opportunity to work at the forefront with global teams, helping clients and individuals create the value they aimed for.
I enjoyed working at PwC so much that I decided to return 12 years later in 2016. It felt like coming home. PwC is socially focused and highly dynamic. I appreciate their commitment to retaining their employees and upskilling them day in, day out.
I had the honour to head the Assurance Activation Hub in Switzerland, supporting profitable growth for important clients and developing new opportunities for PwC. The collaboration and the atmosphere were inspiring. It’s never too late to come back to PwC.
