An exciting graduate programme tailored by PwC Deals across Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific to launch your career in an international Deals environment.

What you can expect from the Edge programme

The start date for the Edge Deals Graduate Programme is 1 September 2025.

The Edge programme will officially kick-off at the International Deals Foundation Event (IDFE) in Spain, where you will meet all other newly joined “Edgies” (how we call our programme participants) and PwC Deals leaders from across EMEA. You will get a taste of the work that you’ll be doing in Deals. Following that, you’ll commence in one of our Deals teams at our Zurich office where you will rotate through different Deals competency groups. You will be involved in a variety of project work with numerous local and international clients and teams.

The Swiss Edge programme foresees four nine-month rotations within Corporate Finance / M&A, Transaction Services, Valuations and Deals Strategy & Operations, across our Deals industries. All rotations are planned depending on our business needs. The last 9-months will take place in the final team where your further Deals career starts.

Please note, that the Edge programme for Financial Services (FS) will have rotations within our FS Deals competency groups, which include Corporate Finance / M&A, Transaction Services, Valuations and Deals Strategy & Operations.

Our 10-15% top performers will have the opportunity to take part in an international exchange and work in another EMEA country for a period of six months. To be selected, you will need to perform at the highest-level right from the start of the Edge programme. Something worth aiming for, right?

At PwC we’re inspired to help you grow

We designed Edge to give you a ‘helicopter’ view of our Deals business. This will mean you’ll continuously learn something new and exciting. To help you through this learning process, you will be supported by relevant training courses, as well as by a team of professionals offering coaching and “buddy” support.

To ensure that you get the best technical training to complement what you learn on the job, the programme requires the completion of a professional qualification (ACCA or CFA).
