The competition brought together over 25 submissions from PwC teams worldwide. The use cases spanned various domains – from logistics and finance to ESG – highlighting the diversity and ingenuity within the PwC network. The objective was clear: to present AI solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible within SAP environments, ultimately delivering transformative value to clients.

An esteemed panel of judges, including SAP technology partners and PwC specialists, rigorously evaluated the entries based on innovation, feasibility and potential impact. With submissions representing the best of PwC’s global capabilities, the competition was fierce.

PwC Switzerland’s success was centred around three groundbreaking AI use cases, each of which addresses critical challenges within SAP landscapes. Here’s a glimpse into each of them:

1. BPMN AI: automated process documentation with SAP Signavio
   • Functionality: This accelerator uses AI to transform audio and video inputs into actionable process documentation. It integrates speech-to-text and text-to-insight capabilities to automatically create detailed BPMN (business process management and notation) process models.
   • Value creation: Clients experienced a 40 to 60 percent reduction in modelling time, coupled with a significant decrease in the frequency of meetings – from three to less than two – thanks to improved clarity and efficiency.

2. PwC Test Cases Accelerator
   • Functionality: By automating test case creation, this accelerator processes input data like BPMN diagrams and functional specifications to generate multiple test scenarios within minutes. Integration with SAP tools such as SolMan ensures seamless data flow and test management.
   • Value creation: This tool reduces test case creation time by an impressive 70 percent, saving significant resources and minimising human error. The result? Enhanced test coverage and improved system quality.

3. GenAI Interface Error Management
   • Functionality: Designed for SAP’s Business Technology Platform (BTP), this use case consolidates interface errors from multiple systems into a single platform. Using machine learning, it classifies errors by priority, proposes context-specific solutions via a GenAI ‘magic button’ and includes a chatbot for quick troubleshooting and insights.
   • Value creation:The platform enables significant IT cost savings and reduces interface disruptions by up to 30%, allowing businesses to focus more on strategic growth rather than operational challenges.
   • Why it matters: This tool revolutionises error management by shifting from reactive to proactive troubleshooting, ensuring minimal business disruption and maximum cost efficiency.
