PwC estimates that 45% of workforce tasks can be automated. This could save an estimated USD 2 trillion in global workforce costs. Organisations can use RPA to automate manual tasks such as copying and pasting data between applications or reconciling and cross-referencing data.

In addition to developing RPA and implementing it in our internal processes, we have already built robotics for a lot of our clients. Although it is in its infancy, the AI-enhanced audit is already being used to make the audit processes better. We are using AI to spot patterns and anomalies in large bodies of structured data. Any problems identified are recognised and remembered by the machine, which then learns from its experiences and applies the learning to the next set of data.

Les drones constituent donc un formidable atout en termes d’économies de temps et de lutte contre les risques de sécurité, ce qui en fait une nouvelle plateforme essentielle pour la collecte de données.

L’IoT gagne rapidement en importance et est d’ores et déjà une technologie courante dans certains secteurs. C’est l’une des plus grandes avancées technologiques de notre temps, génératrice d’opportunités de développement de nouveaux produits, services et modèles opérationnels, et même de contribution à l’établissement d’écosystèmes complets. L’IoT fait référence à un réseau d’appareils physiques connectés par des capteurs et des logiciels à Internet, ce qui permet l’échange de données. Ses différentes applications couvrent presque tous les secteurs : production en réseau et approvisionnement énergétique ; bâtiments et villes en réseau ; agriculture et santé en réseau.

Traditional analytics is widespread, and many organisations are taking advantage of their structured data to unlock insights and drive decisions. But the majority (around 80%) of the data generated by humans is unstructured and is not used to its full potential. Natural language processing (NLP) enables machines to tap into the wealth of information present in unstructured data.

NLP software can facilitate tasks that normally require a significant time investment to read and understand text. We use this technology in the audit to capture data, extract concepts and identify relationships from unstructured text documents (such as bank confirmations, contracts, etc.).
