Johannes (Joop) Smits is Partner at PwC Switzerland and leads our Diversity, Inclusive Culture and Equity practice, a group of multidisciplinary experts that work on designing and implementing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies and analytics as well as developing capabilities.
Joop is an HR and Reward professional with over 20 years of experience in consulting and “in-house” roles. Over the years, he has acquired deep knowledge on topics such as HR transformation, Reward and Executive Compensation. Back in 2017, he initiated and developed our EQUAL-SALARY Certification services and from thereon developed our Diversity, Inclusive Culture and Equity consulting practice. Joop is passionate about unlocking potential in organisations through their people.
He is a regular speaker at public events, holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and HR as well as an Executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management. He is equally an EQUAL-SALARY Lead auditor with ISO9001 and SA8000 qualifications.
