Ralf Hofstetter

Ralf Hofstetter is leading our sustainability practice in Digital Assurance & Trust. He is responsible for coaching, challenging and supporting his clients on their ESG journey in reporting their environmental, social and corporate governance impact on our society. Further, as part sustainability assurance engagements, he audits the reported ESG KPIs and provides independent and professional assurance in line with legal and regulatory requirements such as CRSD/ESRS.

Prior to focusing on sustainability, Ralf was the leader of Trust & Transparency Solutions. In an environment where organizations rely on a complex network of third parties and their subcontractors, increased regulatory scrutiny, data privacy expectations and an overall demand for greater transparency, we provided this transparency and built trust to address relevant compliance requirements, remain competitive and sustain long-term growth.

Ralf has a master degree in information management from the University of Zurich. Furthermore, he is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) as well as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. He joined the firm in 2004 and ever since focused on audit whilst at the same time having a strong background in financial accounting. His profound audit experience spans several industries with a focus on retail, public and governmental organizations, pharmaceuticals, life sciences and pension funds.
