Chairman, PwC Switzerland
I have been a partner at PwC since 2001 and have been with PwC Switzerland since 2007. I have a degree in law and more than 30 years of experience in professional services, including working in international leadership and governance roles. In the process I have built a strong network of contacts, primarily in finance and trading. In my capacity as Global Relationship Partner and Client Service Partner I am responsible for multinational clients and other key accounts.
Over the last 20 years I have also served as Global Leader of PwC’s Treasury Solutions practice and as a member of the Global Finance Consulting Core Leadership team. In addition to this, I chair the Swiss HQ Romandie Club and the CFO roundtable for commodity trading companies.
I joined PwC UK in 1991 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994. From 1994 to 2007 I worked for PwC Belgium, where I became a partner in 2001.
In 2007 I moved to PwC Switzerland and was admitted to the partnership. In 2008 I was chosen to lead our consulting practice in French-speaking Switzerland. The same year I joined the Country Admission Committee, which I chaired from 2010 to 2015. From 2010 to 2019 I was a member of PwC Switzerland’s Swiss Oversight Board, and have also served on PwC Europe’s Supervisory Board.
