Senior Manager, Enterprise Intelligence Lead, PwC Switzerland
Sonja is senior manager and leader of the Enterprise Intelligence team at PwC Switzerland. She studied mathematics with focus on probability theory, financial mathematics, statistics, and operations research, upon which she joined a power company as a quantitative analyst. There, she was involved in trading and strategic risk management, valuation of future investment projects, pricing of structured energy products, and implementation of stochastic models including Monte-Carlo simulations.
In September 2011, Sonja joined PwC Switzerland in the Data & Analytics team where she works on advisory and assurance projects, mainly for clients in public services and financial industries. Her technical core competencies are statistical data analytics, cognitive solutions, quantitative modelling, and simulations. Leading PwC’s Enterprise Intelligence team of 10 people focusing on process intelligence, finance intelligence, and people analytics, Sonja has also broad experience in project management. She holds a Master in Mathematics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) and is a CFA charterholder.
Sonja is dedicated to helping clients better understand, improve, and optimise their processes to gain data-driven insights with a focus on finance and HR processes.
