What was your onboarding experience like?

My onboarding programme was well structured and gave me a good introduction to PwC, my team and the work I would do going forward. I connected with other new joiners at the Introduction (Welcome) Days and then got deeper insights into audit at the audit training courses in the following weeks, where all audit career starters take part. Every new joiner also receives a buddy, which additionally supports your onboarding with one-on-one support. I was welcomed very warmly by my buddy, who took me to lunch, introduced me to my colleagues and explained how desk sharing works. All of this gave me the confidence to get started right.

How would you describe the work environment in Audit at PwC?

Everyone at PwC is motivated. And this motivates me. The team values your opinion, and you are integrated into the team as well as client work right away. Everyone respects and helps one another. I really appreciate the well-structured work environment, the motivation, and the team spirit at PwC.

What is the Assurance Community concept and how do you feel a part of it?

The Assurance Community works like a team, but a much bigger one. We respect and support each other. The Community organises social events like a pub quiz or busy-season drinks. These offer the chance to meet and connect with other Audit and Assurance people outside of your team. It's very valuable and truly makes you feel like you belong.
